"Life is either
a daring adventure
or nothing."

-Helen Keller
A favorite quotation of my adventurous daughters. Again, the power of this thought is overwhelming as we reflect on who said it. Her senses of sight and sound were taken from her by acute illness at nineteen months. And yet, in her approach to living out her days, Helen Keller developed a robust love of life and wisdom. She was able and even eager to say, "I thank God for my handicaps, for through them I have found myself, my work, and my God."

Damien,
THANKS! You speak the very words of God to my soul. May He continue to use you for His glory and for the good of His people.--Sue

Your dad says we have something in common, but I have to ask you about it in person next time I see you. I guess that will be around thanksgiving. I hope I remember by then. It sounds like an interesting story. :)

hmmm... I wonder what it could be?
Have you ever slipped on a rock and plummeted over a fifty foot waterfall? Or gone sleep-walking in a strange home and awakened in the morning in bed with your host? Or been hit from behind by a car going 40mph while biking and landed on your feet by the side of the road unharmed? Or been chased down the road by a man with a knife because you tried to break up a fight he was having with some poor woman?
Well I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.
