Look what just appeared in your local post office. I beg you not to use boring generic postage stamps when stimulating choices like this are available. There's only 12 stamps on a whole sheet so these are very affordable (less than $5 per sheet). Get going.

bought some today on my trip to post office.
Oh how I wish I got stamps from the post office! We always get ours at the store since out post offices is inconveniently located. The store ONLY sells the lame generic stamps. Such a shame!
go to usps.com. you can get all the stamps you want sent right to you, and the postage is only one buck regardless.
