This is me at Johns Hopkins last year with Pax, Kate and Kyrie.
I've come so far since then. The bone marrow transplant
(compliments of my brother David) to treat my leukemia appears
to have been successful. There is no trace of the cancer, but there
have been a few bumps (of course) and I still have a ways to go.
All praise to God my savior, with deep gratitude to David and the
many many friends who have encouraged, supported, and intereceded
for my family and me.
Today Brae is moving to Philadelphia to begin pursuing a new career
path which will most certainly involve photography. She has been living
at home with us since returning from China several months ago.
Sienna is off to Kentucky for spring break to visit her friend Anna from
Holland whom she met in Africa aboard Mercy Ships. Anna married
Todd, a Yank she met on Mercy Ships, and they've settled in Louisville.
And Kyrie is flying off to Huanta, Peru with a group of students from
Covenant to assist in building a church and in teaching young children
about the wonders of the gospel.
What a pivotal day for this little family.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began
Now far ahead the road has gone,
And I must follow if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
