Look what the postmaster did when we weren't looking. Yep, he's gone and raised the cost of sending a letter by one penny. So unless you've got a store of those very boring "forever" stamps, you might want to pick up extra 1 cent or some of the new 42 cent stamps. This jazzy one isn't available until later this year. I know monetarily speaking I should buy the forever stamps. But a little voice (coming from the direction of Maryland) cried "No! Pay extra for the visually appealing stamps!" Funny that you should post about exactly what I was thinking.
