Trouble comes,
but misery is a choice.

Jared tells me a story he once overheard somewhere... I forget where... about a woman who worked at Walmart and her friend who also worked there. Her friend was complaining about the job. The first woman said, "I don't like walmart steal my joy."

I have often thought about that, since Jared told me the story. How often do I let dumb things like Walmart or school steal my joy? I am supposed to be joyful always. :)

Thanks for the reminder.

i have given this a lot of thought this new year.misery comes if we focus on problems, people, situations, et. but we know better than that, right? My challenge this year is to focus on a great and good God. He made the day happen again, he can certainly tend to my prayers.
