Here's a peak at some new postage stamps being issued
in 2011.  One of the changes this coming year will be
that every stamp will cover the postage for a normal
first-class envelope from here to eternity.  In other
words, all the newly issued stamps will say "forever."
This will allow the U.S Postal Service to raise rates
more smoothly and at any time they'd like.  Sound
good?  Go here to view the entire line-up of stamps for
2011.  Be sure to hit the little scroll arrow at the bottom.
Some real dogs and some real winners too.  Among the
sweet surprises are a set of 4 Romare Bearden paintings
and a Wall-E stamp.  The Madonna and Child painting
for next Christmas will be a Raphael from The Walters
Art Museum in Baltimore.

WOW!
What a great line up. Thanks for the preview. My faves are the Garden of Love you featured, and the Neon Celebrate. Why is the word Forever crossed out on every stamp? Good plan that we won't need extra stamps when they bump up the rates! Yipee!

the lined-out "forever" makes it a little more difficult to use these images to make counterfeits.

I feel like if I was an artist the easiest thing for me to copy would be the black line through Forever. How funny, that's the distinguishing feature that keeps the stamps from being reproduced illegally.

you'd have to take out the black line. it won't be on the actual stamps.
