Here is the new stamp to use if you're sending
a large greeting card, or using a square envelope.
It depicts a Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly,
one of Maryland's state symbols.  How many of
us know our official state bug?

north dakota's is a lady bug. looking that up led me to learn that milk is our state beverage. our fruit is chokecherry. what a funny state!

what are the chances of sitting on your porch, sipping a chokecherry milkshake, and along comes a ladybug that lands on your nose?

Alright, so I played this game...Virginia's state insect is the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, our state folk dance is the Square Dance, do-se-do, and our beverage is also milk. It does a body good.
