simple

4In character, in manner, in style, in all things the supreme excellence is simplicity.

The Longfellow recipe to Fingerpost's charm: humour, wit, profundity, controversy all summed up in pithy sentence-length presentations. If you can't say it in one breath, I don't suppose it's worth saying at all...

Another thought of the day: Fingerpost is better than a daily calendar because I can't cheat and look ahead. Anticipation is prolonged, and hence rewarded.

Fingerpost has become routine of the sort that never grows old, like coffee and checking the mail.

Sarah, that has to be the kindest and most encouraging input I've ever received regarding Fingerpost. Thanks for making my day.
