Hot or Cold?

"There are ominous signs that the Earth's weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production--with serious political implications for just about every nation on earth. The drop in food production could begin quite soon. ... The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it." The story is from Newsweek. The year was 1975 and the threat was global cooling.

This excerpt is from a review written by Tim Challies on his site Discerning Reader. The book he's reviewing is called The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism) by Christopher Horner. Go here if you'd like to read the entire review or just check out the site.
