I meant to do my work today,
But a brown bird sang in the apple tree,
And a butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling me.
And the wind went sighing over the land,
tossing the grasses to and fro,
And a rainbow held out its shining hand,
So what could I do but laugh and go?

it's quite shocking how your images match your quotes so provocatively. the images truly illuminate the words.

reminds me of my firstborn when he was about 10...much too hard to stay inside and be homeschooled when so much adventure and beauty called from outside

Yes, I agree with Brae -- well done!

(By the way, it snowed in Kyiv today... hoping it warms up tomorrow so we can stroll through the botanical gardens with visiting friends!)
