Fran is near the top of my list. She, in fact, wrote my life verse:
"There is no such thing as inner peace. There is only nervousness or death. Any attempt to prove otherwise constitutes unacceptable behavior." She also gives the best free advice you will ever find. Such as "Your life story would not make a good book. Don't even try." And pertaining to my line of work, "Very few people possess true artistic ability. It is therefore both unseemly and unproductive to irritate the situation by making an effort. If you have a burning, restless urge to write or paint, simply eat something sweet and the feeling will pass." This really works.

I had to look up curmudgeon first, but I wholeheartedly agree with the previous comment. What does everybody think of that 3 yr old whose art is selling like, like, like....(somebody help me with a word here)?
